I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW 128351) serving Sonoma County in-person and CA virtually. I specialize in supporting individuals who tend to prioritize the needs and desires of others at the expense of their own, and who are seeking a deeper sense of peace, balance, and authenticity in their lives.
In our work together, I provide practical tools for organization, mindfulness, and holistic self-care to help reduce negative symptoms. Clients often experience an increased sense of self-worth, improved self-care routines, greater confidence in self-advocacy, and enhanced distress tolerance. Throughout our sessions, my clients consistently express feeling heard, understood, and supported. By connecting current feelings to past experiences, we work to foster meaningful insights and create lasting change.
I earned my Master’s in Social Welfare with a focus on Adult Health and Well-being Across the Lifespan, along with a Certificate in Aging, from the University of California, Berkeley. I also hold a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations with a Minor in Social Work from Pepperdine University.
Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to work with a diverse range of populations, including children, adults, individuals with disabilities, and older adults. My experience spans non-profit organizations, government, medical, and school settings, all of which have shaped my approach to therapy. I draw on this extensive background and my understanding of community resources to provide informed, compassionate care in private practice.
I believe that therapy should be a collaborative, compassionate and person-centered experience. In practice this means our sessions are tailored to your specific needs and experiences. My goal is to help you find ways to fit skills from therapy into your life in practical and sustainable ways. I want to help you build awareness and curiosity around your emotions, physical reactions, behaviors, and thoughts in order to build self-compassion, resilience, and healing. In general, I have a holistic, somatic and eclectic approach–pulling from modalities such as narrative therapy, motivational interviewing, and trauma informed care.
I have a casual and relational style of communication. This means that I am not a typical “blank slate” therapist who won’t give you any facial or emotional feedback. I want you to see me as a human being too, which means I will have (considerate but) authentic reactions.
If you’re ready to take the next step toward a more fulfilling and balanced life, I’m here to support you on that journey.
