Bio
It can be intimidating finding the right clinician for your mental health needs. Whether you’re taking the first step in reaching out for help or you’ve worked with previous providers in the past, you’re hoping to work with a mental health professional who is open, approachable, and committed to working with you collaboratively to develop individualized treatment that will achieve your goals. I believe mental health treatment demands a flexible and creative approach. If we work together, I will thoughtfully approach your treatment in this fashion to evaluate if medications and/or therapy may be appropriate for your needs.
I am a Harvard-trained psychiatrist and instructor at Harvard Medical School, where I also have a research interest in occupational and physician burnout. I have broad experience with psychiatric management of mood and anxiety disorders, and applying multimodal therapeutic techniques like DBT and ACT to best suit my patients needs.
I am committed to creating a safe therapeutic space where your sensitive mental health issues can be discussed freely with someone who will be culturally competent, non-judgmental, and interactive, but also willing to provide accountability and humor when warranted in order to accomplish your mental health needs. Email or call to set up a phone call with me.
