Hello.  I’m Dr. Claire Corey.  I am glad you are here.  If you have landed here because you want to address mental health issues, I can help.  My training background is psychodynamic psychotherapy, but over the past 20 years, I have worked in many different settings and modalities — inpatient, outpatient, individual, family, group, trauma work, etc.  My experience has shown me that while various theoretical orientations may provide a framework for change, it is self-efficacy that sustains growth.  So, how I practice today is very much anchored in the principle of empowerment.  I provide not only psychotherapy but also psychoeducation to help my patients and their loved ones learn.  The more you know, the less you fear.  Let’s begin.
