Welcome! I’m Evangelina, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker licensed in NY and CT with over 15 years of experience. I attended University of Hartford and completed a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in psychology. I completed a Master of Science in Clinical Social Work at Columbia University. I’ve worked in outpatient community health centers providing counseling services with clients focusing on developing positive coping skills to address symptoms of anxiety, depression, grief and/or trauma. I have a passion working with Asian American community to discuss connection of culture and mental well-being. My approach is personalized and designed to help clients gain the tools and confidence to face life’s challenges. I enjoy utilizing humor along with techniques of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interview (MI) to connect and support clients to achieve their therapeutic goals.
