Hi! I’m Kamie. As a Hong Kong-born Asian therapist and Certified Trauma Professional, I provide a culturally sensitive, affirming space for immigrants, second-generation Asian Canadians, LGBTQ2+ individuals and diverse cultural communities to navigate their identities, experiences, and challenges with care.

Through an Emotionally Focused approach, I will gently support you in exploring the emotions and experiences that shape your relationships and sense of self while guiding you toward meaningful change. This evidence-based method is particularly effective for navigating anxiety, depression, and trauma, fostering long-lasting growth and healing.

 

Tailoring each session to your unique needs, I integrate various therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Strength-Based Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based interventions, ensuring a personalized and supportive experience.
