Mabuhay (welcome)! I am a first generation, Filipina American and Clinicial Social Worker licensed in both Texas and NJ. My current availability is during weekdays largely for mornings and afternoons for telehealth sessions. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Social Work and have 16 years experience ranging from inpatient psychiatric and residential treatment, partial care and intensive outpatient programs, to outpatient private practice. My specialty is in Post traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Trauma/Anxiety, Depression, and I am certified in Eye Movement and Desensitization and Response Therapy (EMDR) for Level I and II. My practice is integrative and incorporates Psychodynamic, Mindfulness, and Cognitive behavioral therapy along with other approaches such as parts work and strengths based interventions.

Outside of my credentials, training, and comprehensive background, what sets me apart from what I’ve been told, is my level of empathy, care, adaptability, and understanding, and the depth, breadth, and intuitive nature of my approach. Beyond diagnosis and circumstances, I believe in exploring and allowing for the full range of what it means to be human (or rather souls having a human experience!) authentically and connected from within, as well without to the greater community of life. In my view, nothing is excluded and all the parts we may judge, isolate, or deem negative – pain, uncertainty, loss, anguish, ambivalence – are welcome!

With curiosity, kindness, and humor, and incorporating your strengths, wisdom, and experiences, let’s collaborate on your healing adventure and journey to self!
