You feel stuck, and you know you want something different for yourself. The thought occurred to you while you struggled to fall asleep at night. Maybe you’ve thought about how hard it’s been many times, and tried many different things to make it fine.
Throughout your life, there’s been a flurry of new experiences, new relationships, new places. Despite the new, you feel like you’re the same as you were before – alone and tender.
Maybe it’s still not fine and it never quite was. You’ve taken the brave step in seeking out help, and maybe this isn’t the first time you’ve had to be brave like this.
I am an Associate Clinical Social Worker in the State of California, supervised by Ah Hyun Lee, LCSW. I use Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness, Internal Family Systems, and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I am in training for EMDR therapy from September through December 2025.
In sessions with me, you can expect curiosity without judgment and empathic listening. If you’re new to therapy, you can expect to build awareness about yourself and develop skills that will augment the ones you already use to take care of yourself. If you’ve had difficult experiences with therapy in the past or have concerns about starting anew, you’ll find a gentle landing space in our sessions where we can move at your pace. If you’ve been in therapy for a long time but some problems continue to persist for you, we’ll dig for the roots and collaboratively discover what is yet unknown.
