As a South Asian woman and child of immigrant parents, I bring lived experience and cultural insight into my work as a therapist. I understand firsthand the unique tensions that can arise when navigating identity, relationships, and expectations across cultures — especially within Asian family systems, where Western approaches to healing can sometimes miss the mark when it comes to cultural nuance and intergenerational dynamics.

My practice is grounded in an anti-oppressive, client-centered approach that honours your complexity, your resilience, and the cultural context you live in. I offer a compassionate, non-judgmental space where you can bring your full self — including the parts shaped by intergenerational dynamics, unspoken family roles, and the pressures of success, belonging, and sacrifice.

I support individuals experiencing:

  • Anxiety and overwhelm

  • Burnout and career stress

  • Struggles in romantic or family relationships

  • Difficult dynamics with parents and siblings

  • The challenges of being a child of immigrants or navigating the immigrant experience

I integrate a variety of modalities — including Gestalt therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and somatic approaches — to meet you where you are. Together, we’ll develop practical strategies you can begin using right away to feel more grounded and empowered, while also engaging in the deeper work that supports long-term healing and transformation.

Therapy is not one-size-fits-all – but rather, it’s a process that is thoughtful, collaborative, and deeply respectful of your cultural background and personal values.

I offer virtual therapy with flexible scheduling, including daytime, evening, and weekend availability.

If you’re looking for a supporting space where the nuances of being a second generation immigrant, a person of colour, or someone straddling multiple cultural worlds are understood, I’d be honoured to walk alongside you.
