My name is Carrie Le (she/her), and I am a Registered Psychologist based in downtown Calgary, Alberta. I offer individual therapy for adult clients for issues such as depression, anxiety, relationship issues, stress, burnout, grief and loss, self-esteem, and family of origin issues. My aim is to provide clients with a safe and non-judgmental experience of therapy. I approach therapy with compassion, care, and unconditional positive regard for all people.
I take a person-centred, trauma-informed approach to therapy that emphasizes authenticity and collaboration. My work draws from cognitive-behavioural practices, emotion-focused therapy, and positive psychology to help clients make meaningful change, enhance self-awareness, and improve their sense of self and well-being. My work is guided by intersectional-feminist theory that addresses issues related to race, class, gender, sexuality, etc. and recognizes the influence of power, privilege, and oppression on the human experience.
I offer a complementary 15-minute initial consultation by phone for new clients to discuss questions that you may have about doing therapy together.
