I believe in the healing power of relationships. Humans have a biological need to find safety through connection with others. Disconnection in relationships may leave you feeling hopeless. Together, we will look at your relationship to self and how this impacts navigating relationships with others. I am trained in taking this systemic approach for individual, couples, and family therapy. I specialize in working with intercultural couples and families, LGBTQ+ clientele, women, teens (specifically Asian and/or bi-racial teens), and those looking to foster a healthy relationship with food, movement, and their body. I work with many Asian-American clientele on finding work-life balance and improving family relationships. I have a experience and education in working with individuals at the outpatient level of eating disorder recovery, or who simply might be curious about how to build a healthier relationship to food intake, movement, and their body. I will be officially certified in Intuitive Eating this upcoming November, for those who are familiar with the approach. My approach to therapy is flexible, collaborative, and insight-oriented. If you are looking to learn how to reconnect with yourself and those around you, feel free to email or call. I am happy to offer a free fifteen minute phone consultation for you to ask questions and see if we connect to begin therapy.
