I am a South Asian Clinical Psychologist who grew up in North America and in the Middle East. I am intimately familiar with the struggles of moving frequently, establishing a sense of belonging, and navigating opposing cultural norms. As a mom of two young children, I am sensitive to the struggles of re-discovering oneself in parenthood, renegotiating familial roles and responsibilities, re-establishing a sense of intimacy in one’s marriage, and figuring out one’s shifting priorities with respect to work-life balance. I am also a career changer and understand what it’s like to feel like you are starting life over from scratch. In working with me, you can expect to find a collaborative and engaged partner interested in helping you find your way back to leading a meaningful and fulfilling life.

I provide values-based therapy to adults who are 25 years and older, as well as culturally-informed neuropsychological assessments to folks across the lifespan (8-years-old to 90-years-old). PSYPACT credentialing helps me fill the gap in culturally sensitive tele-therapy for POC across state lines. As a neuropsychologist, I am highly trained to discern neurobiological from social-emotional difficulties. On a case-by-case basis, I may be comfortable administering some psychological assessments virtually. However, comprehensive neuropsychological assessments will only be administered in-person out of my Buffalo Grove, IL office location.

If I am not paneled with your specific health insurance plan, and you are interested in using your health insurance benefits to make mental health care more financially accessible, please do not hesitate to reach out! I help my clients obtain reimbursements from their insurance companies with their out-of-network reimbursement rates. Sometimes, this means recouping as much as 80% of your costs!
