Therapy is a brave undertaking that each person takes to open their mind and hearts, bit by bit, to repair wounds and rebuild a healthy sense of self. Each person’s process takes a different form, yet all the stories carry the same themes of transformation. I am inspired daily by human capacity and drive for healing, and it is my deepest honor, as a therapist, to be a warm, gentle, and trusting guide in that process.

I am trained in trauma-informed practice, CBT, internal family systems, mindfulness approaches to holistic health, and culturally sensitive practice. I tailor my approach with each client in order to meet them where they are, as a human. I work with adults of all ages, couples, and families to find a path forward in overcoming challenges related to depression, anxiety, complex trauma, intergenerational trauma, identity loss, isolation, grief, life transitions, and more. Coming from a diasporic Vietnamese American background, and being an immigrant myself, I use these parts of myself to resonate with where people are coming from. I welcome all parts of your identities, from sexuality to religion, ability to race, in the work we do together.

With over nine years of experience, my work in mental health includes leading trauma-informed mindfulness groups at the Cambridge Health Alliance, facilitating grief groups for children and families at The Children’s Center, and conducting case management at the Asian Task Force Against Domestic Violence, and running intergenerational trauma-focused groups as part of my ongoing research on healing historical trauma. Most recently, I worked as an individual and family therapist in Denver before joining Ohm Counseling. I am thrilled to be here and look forward to being a part of your healing journey
