My name is Jo Jo Lee, Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)#5690 (CA), National Certified Counselor (NCC).

If you’re feeling overwhelmed by mood disorders, PTSD, or the pressures of cultural expectations, know that you’re not alone! With over a decade of experience in mental health crisis response, I’m here to provide you with compassionate, culturally responsive support in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.

I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of San Diego, a Master’s degree in Clinical and Abnormal Psychology from Swansea University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of California, San Diego. My experience includes working in mobile crisis teams, university counseling centers, and healthcare systems, as well as leadership roles in professional organizations that shape mental health policies and provide training. Beyond clinical work, I share my expertise through publications, lectures, and training to drive meaningful change in the mental health field.

As a Chinese American therapist, I understand the unique pressures of cultural identity and family expectations. You deserve a space where your identity is seen and valued. Let’s take the first step together. Reach out now!
