Bio

Welcome~
I am a licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) with 11 years of mental and behavioral health experience. As the first generation child of a Korean immigrant family, I know what it’s like to experience cultural values in conflict. My goal is to provide a safe, judgment-free space for you to feel heard and understood as you explore challenges related to racial identity, particularly if you identify as Asian/Asian-American.

Oftentimes, our lived experiences as POC (People of Color) can include stress, anxiety, depression, family conflict and trauma. I focus on helping you get in touch with what’s no longer serving you or keeping you stuck, and collaborate in figuring out how to live a life that feels fulfilling, hopeful and aligns with your values. Culturally-Sensitive Therapy can be a wonderful way to help you feel seen, foster your personal growth & development, and gain tools to improve your quality of life. Often after the first session, clients describe feeling relief, and less anxious. If this sounds like what you’re looking for, it would be an honor to journey alongside you.

If you identify as a Christian and would like to incorporate faith/spirituality in our sessions, we can discuss how this may look during our 1st session. That being said, I also work with clients who do not identify as Christian and discuss spirituality as much or as little as you’d like.
