Hi there! I’m Dr. Andi (she/they), and I help activists, organizers, and caregivers who are burnt out from caring for everyone to reclaim access to justice and joy. I love working with fellow activists and organizers in managing compassion fatigue, challenging perfectionist and internal beliefs of “not doing enough,” and remaining grounded in values. With caregivers and parents, I specialize in working with folx in the perinatal period (including planning, pregnancy, postpartum) who are navigating the transitions to parenthood, bodily autonomy, the intersections of racial and medical trauma, and grief and loss.
I am queer, neurodivergent, Taiwanese American Liberation Psychologist with a passion for serving LGBTQ+ members of the Global Majority healing from systemic oppression and trauma. I believe that healing happens in relationship with others, and we don’t have to assimilate nor accept our oppressive conditions.
You are more than what you’ve experience, and deserve to come home to yourself. I combine different evidence-based approaches to offer anti-oppressive, culturally-grounded, and identity-affirming care that honors you as a whole person beyond whatever symptoms or struggles you’re going through.
I currently provide individual psychotherapy in English and Mandarin to adults via telehealth only. I approach therapy as a collaborative process rooted in relationship, so therapy is truly with you and personalized for you. I recognize how important it is to find someone you can trust with your care. If you’re looking for therapy that is always affirming, accepting, and authentic, we’ll probably be a great fit!
