I am deeply committed to creating a space where you feel safe to explore your inner experiences without fear of judgment or criticism. My work emphasizes empathy, collaboration, and respect for everyone’s unique story. I believe that effective therapy requires acknowledgment of the oppressive systems that contribute to life’s challenges and underlie many mental health struggles. Together, we can explore how therapy can help you gain a deeper understanding of yourself, build resilience, and create positive change in your life aligned with your values.

My approach to therapy draws from a blend of systems-based, narrative, existential, and acceptance and mindfulness-based approaches. My therapeutic framework is informed by my values of anti-oppressive and social justice oriented healing.

As a therapist, I will not be another person in your life telling you what you should do. Rather, I will listen to you and seek to understand the significance of your experiences to you. Through curiosity and openness, I hope to walk with you in your discovery of the answers that you might already know yet have not realized.

About Me

I am a neurodivergent, queer, 2nd-gen Chinese-American. I received my bachelor’s in Biochemistry from the University of Washington and my master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Antioch University.

I am also a Leo Sun, Pisces Moon, and Virgo Rising. In my free time, I enjoy playing video games, knitting (starting to dabble in crochet), and being part of fandoms!

Getting Started

Please reach out to me by email to schedule a free 15-minute consultation! Consultation is a big word, but it’s really just for you to ask any questions about me, how I do therapy, or therapy in general. Therapy can feel like a big commitment, so this is a time for us to chat and see if we could be a good fit.

Availability

I am currently open for sessions Sunday through Wednesday, with some flexibility to meet outside of these times if necessary. We can always talk more about this!
