Hi there! I welcome all and embrace every aspect of your identity, so come as you are.

Details about my work with Asian communities can be found here. To learn about my story with mental health therapy and first-hand experience working with Asian communities, check out my interview with Spectrum News 1.

TL;DR (a quick summary)

Helping adults through talk therapy, EMDR, and Brainspotting, I get people moving with intention in their desired direction. No longer will you feel like a ship without a rudder. As a trauma-informed clinician with advanced EMDR training and Phase 1 of Brainspotting, I support dynamic individuals who struggle with anxiety/stress, life changes, and trauma. I also guide determined couples towards building stronger connections and moving past affairs as a couples counselor trained in Gottman Method. I assist adults and couples by teaching effective, practical methods. These include informal mindfulness within daily activities, somatic (body-based) exercises, and challenging bothersome thoughts with confidence. My clients improve their overall wellness and develop a healthy connection to their feelings and actions.

THE DETAILS

I specialize in helping motivated individuals and couples because I believe that they can be empowered and create the change they seek. I share proven tools based on your individual needs and abilities, allowing you to regain control of your life. To work through trauma, I provide a variety of resources to help you stay grounded, flexible, and curious about your present experiences as the first step. For couples work, I teach no-nonsense skills from the Gottman Method, a research-based couples therapy. Partners feel capable of using the information learned and applying them outside of session to their busy lives. My clients define their goals for therapy and move at their pace; I serve as their guide during the transformation process and support them along the way.

MY GENUINE COUNSELING APPROACH

My priorities are simple- listen to understand first, help second. I show up as authentic, attentive, and committed. I also weave in humor and lightness, when appropriate, and am ready to earn your trust. I offer culturally competent care, a comforting space, and in-person or telehealth appointments to fit your schedule so you can move forward.
