I am a clinical psychologist who provides individual therapy (virtual and in-person in Newton, MA) and intensive psychoanalytic psychotherapy services for adults (21+) in the Greater Boston Area. I obtained my B.A. in Honors Psychology at the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario and my M.A. and PsyD in Clinical Psychology with a Multicultural Focus at the California School of Professional Psychology in San Francisco, California. I enjoy working with my clients as a team to address the challenges that they experience within their family, their relationships and their culture(s). My specialty areas include life transitions, relationship concerns, cultural issues, spiritual/existential/religious concerns, family stress, grief/loss, navigating parenthood, bicultural/multicultural identity and South Asian mental health.

In addition to therapy work, I have a strong passion for writing and speaking. My mission is to reassure people that they are not alone in the complexity of their experiences, to build curiosity and self-compassion as they go through life challenges, and to break the stigma with therapy and seeking support especially in the South Asian community. Some of my interviews and writings have been featured in Brown Girl Magazine, Mom’s Hierarchy of Needs, The Juggernaut, and South Asian Mental Health Initiative and Network (SAMHIN).
