Rachael helps people embody their lives as they cope with the things that interfere with wellbeing. She has worked and volunteered in roles that intersect social justice and mental health over the past 20 years.
Rachael’s lived experience as a biracial and multicultural femme of color offers non-colonial perspectives many of her clients find helpful. She attained her Bachelors and Masters degrees from the University of Utah College of Social Work as a non-traditional, first generation graduate; while parenting single. Her continuing education is in trauma informed interventions. She is also an experienced, trained, and authorized teacher of meditation & mindfulness practices in the Vajrayana tradition.
Orienting oneself to pleasure is radically healing and Rachael is a self proclaimed pleasure activist. She enjoys thoughtful food, full moons, waterfalls and exploring cities by foot and waterways by kayak. She is a partner, a parent to two adult children and an elderly English bulldog.
