Ting holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from York University in 2022. She has experience working with anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, stress, and relationship issues. Her education and practical experience include graduate-level research on culturally adaptive narrative therapy, crisis intervention, and therapeutic approaches for individuals recovering from trauma, PTSD, emotional distress, and physical injuries. She has pursued professional training in EMDR, Brainspotting, EFT, CPT, and grief and loss. She continues to engage in ongoing professional development following her EMDR certification.

Ting has extensive experience working with the geriatric population in long-term care homes and community settings since 2012. As a recreation therapist, she primarily worked with individuals diagnosed with dementia. She developed a memory book project for residents at the Niagara Health Welland site and delivered Play Intervention for Dementia (PID) at Yee Hong Centre for Geriatric Care to support the cognitive, emotional, and social well-being of older adults. She also provides psychological treatment to clients who have been involved in motor vehicle accidents (MVA) within rehabilitation and wellness centers.

Ting continues to offer psychotherapy services to clients with diverse needs, creating a supportive and compassionate space where each individual feels heard, valued, and empowered.

Ting’s therapeutic approach emphasizes safety, compassion, and non-judgment, exploring clients’ inner strengths through their healing journey..

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my two kids. During my own time,  I like to practice yoga, listen to podcasts, and watch K-dramas.
