Helen (she/hers) is a queer, second-generation neuroatypical Chinese Canadian cisgender woman who currently lives in CT  and is licensed in both CT and MA.  Helen is deeply dedicated to working with Asian Americans in a safe and welcoming environment, especially to those who feel like they are perpetually on the outside looking in.

As someone who understands the difficulties in finding kinship with community, and has worked with a variety of socioeconomic classes, groups, cultures, and races, Helen excels in creating a comforting and accepting space to discuss sensitive matters. She works with clients to enhance self-actualization skills and build confidence.

Helen enjoys writing poetry, making zines, vending at community art fairs, and making miniatures.

Currently, Helen is accepting new clients for individuals and couples.

Helen earned her Master of Social Work with merit-based scholarship, specializing in Clinical Social Work, from Boston University School of Social Work in 2020. Prior to that, she graduated early with a double major in Psychology and Sociology at the University of California, Los Angeles, achieving a spot on the Dean’s List. Her high school education included the The International Baccalaureate (IB) program and the Duke TIP (Talent Identification Program).

Currently serving as the Clinical Coordinator and Tobacco Education Coordinator at the West End Clinic, Massachusetts General Hospital, her role involves coordinating and triaging patients for dual diagnosis treatment, leading psychotherapy groups, and providing individual long-term psychotherapy.
