Bio

Hi, I’m Dr. Rona. I am a mind-body psychologist that specializes in AAPI mental health and helping folks manage chronic pain or other chronic conditions. Many of my clients work with me to heal from trauma, anxiety, or imposter syndrome. Others are looking for support with managing their chronic pain and improving their quality of life. I’m committed to diverse, liberation oriented communities. I enjoy working with women/femmes of color and students/professionals from immigrant families. One of my passions is helping fellow Filipinx Americans and other AAPI folks navigate difficult family and cultural dynamics.

My work stems from feminist, decolonization, and embodiment practices, and I use a here-and-now approach by integrating mindfulness and yoga into talk therapy. As a mind-body therapist, I take a holistic and non-judgmental approach to help clients reach their goals of living a meaningful, well-balanced life. Together we will explore the here and now with self-compassion, and in turn, find practical ways for you to take steps towards creating the life you envision for yourself.
