Bio

I’m Jenny Hsuan Fang Hsu, a Taiwanese Canadian, queer, female-identified therapist, passionate about creating a safe, inclusive space for individuals, partners, and families to explore their emotions and heal. As a registered clinical counselor in British Columbia, I specialize in Emotionally Focused Therapy, blending anti-oppressive, trauma-informed, and attachment-based approaches.

Being a 1.5 immigrant from Taiwan, I deeply understand the challenges of navigating cultural identity, generational differences, and family expectations. My lived experience with chronic pain and recovery from a motorcycle accident further shapes my empathy and insight when supporting clients with physical and emotional struggles.

I provide counseling in English and Mandarin, supporting folx from historically marginalized communities, including LGBTQ2S+, immigrants, and Asian families. Whether you’re facing relational stress, identity exploration, or life transitions, I’m here to walk alongside you in discovering clarity, balance, and connection.
