Sonal (any pronouns) is a healer, co-creator, and trauma-informed therapist. They have experience working with individuals navigating trauma (including familial, racial, immigration, and intergenerational trauma), disordered eating and body image concerns, relationship issues, consensual non-monogamy, experiences of gender based violence, mood disorders (such as BPD, bipolar, depression, etc.), and job and career related stressors. Due to her academic experiences as well as her identity as a queer, South Asian, genderfluid, immigrant, Sonal is invested in helping individuals navigate identity-based explorations, including gender and sexuality, multiple ethnic/geographical/cultural identities, disability, and neurodivergence. Sonal’s approach is anti-oppressive and centers the client’s autonomy and agency. Clients have said that Sonal brings an affirming, grounded, and light presence to the room.
