Bio

I work extensively with clients wanting a big shift around: *Feeling sad, depressed, anxious, irritable, or unhappy in relationships * You find that resentment, criticism, and self-judgment poison your days. * You’ve lost track of what matters to you and can’t stop people pleasing. *You want to cultivate a loving inner voice* You want to feel empowered to set healthy boundaries * You feel stuck in grief *You want to experience deeper joy and more satisfaction in your life without guilt *You feel emotional distress related to inter generational or collective trauma, oppression, and the state of our world.

For 17 years my practice has focused on trauma recovery, resilience-building and cultivating joy with BIPOC, South Asian, Middle Eastern, Muslim & LGBTQI populations. The work I do goes beyond talk-therapy to real embodied change, so that you can take action in the world in ways that are aligned with what you truly want & feel at home & at peace in your body.

It takes a lot of courage to heal our hearts, face our fears, and reclaim our joyous loving self and it is the best gift we can give ourselves & those we love. I look forward to hearing from you.
