Personal Approach
Yeqi is a listener, mentor, and partner in patient’s recovery journey. She gets to know every patient by listening to their history, what they are at currently, and what their goals are. Throughout the treatment course, Yeqi provides extensive psychoeducation, discusses different treatment options, and eventually reaches a plan of action that is individualized, feasible, and efficacious for each patient. Getting a prescription is never the end of the story. Yeqi strives to achieve sustainable treatment goal by empowering patients to become engaged partners in their care.


Professional Background

Yeqi is a graduate of the Yale University School of Nursing who is eager to make an impact in the mental health field. Yeqi has been working with diverse populations, including adolescents, college students and professionals, as well as geriatric patients. She is experienced in treating depression, anxiety, PTSD, OCD, Bipolar Disorder, and Psychosis. Yeqi has extensive experiences in diagnosing and managing psychiatric disorders that commonly co-occur with general medical conditions through her work at psychiatric consultation-liaison. She received rigorous training from the Yale PRIME Psychosis Risk Clinic and is a certified SIPS (Structured Interview for Psychosis-Risk Syndromes) assessor who evaluates and treat adolescents and young adults with prodromal psychosis. Yeqi was selected as an Interdisciplinary Minority Fellow by American Psychological Association and a member of Delta Mu chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.
