Are you looking to explore a deeper relationship, stronger identity, and/or acceptance within yourself?
Are you curious about breaking and recovering from generational cycles of toxic stress and trauma?
Are you seeking ways to connect more with your whole body, mind, and spirit, and/or deepen your connections with others?
It’s not always easy to ask for help, so I extend warm, celebratory wishes to you for being here.
My name is Wing (she/her), and I am a queer, cis, non-monogamous, Vietnamese-American clinical social worker based in Maryland. I work primarily with adult women and femmes (18+), BIPOC, and children from immigrant families. I offer virtual sessions and in-person sessions located in Washington, DC.
I approach my work with cultural humility, trauma-conscious and somatic-informed practices, as well as sex positive and poly/non-monogamous affirming care. In co-created and shared therapeutic space, I offer support to explore identity and self esteem, intergenerational cultural, spiritual, and family values; to navigate transitions and changes in interpersonal relationships, stress and burnout, anxiety, grief, and trauma recovery.
With my background in both social work and public health, my therapeutic approach considers the individual within the context of their greater environment. I integrate yoga philosophy, mindfulness, attachment-based, psychodynamic and humanistic methods of therapy, and am informed by the following modalities: Somatic Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
If any of the above resonated with you, I invite us to connect and explore together what your needs are at this time.
