Bio
Have you ever felt like you’re living one foot in the past and one foot in the present, but not by choice? You want to be all here, but there’s something holding you back. To your surprise, it can even control your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, so it’s naturally also affecting your present-day relationships. Do you ever find yourself fighting visual snapshots or memories of past trauma and its counterpart, shame? Have you ever wondered why certain topics or interactions provoke a strong reaction and leave you feeling raw? If your answer to any of these questions is, “Yes,” I may be able to help.
I specialize in anxiety and trauma treatment for women. I help you look beneath the surface of your symptoms and explore their origins. I work with you to deconstruct unhealthy narratives in your life, explore persisting unhealthy patterns, and help you feel more grounded and connected to yourself. I am trained in EMDR, CBT, DBT, TF-CBT, and mindfulness.
Trauma and mental health stress can be overwhelming. You don’t have to do this alone. I will commit to providing you a safe space where you are free to discover, grow, and heal at your own pace. You are the expert in your life story and I’m here to support you and provide you with tools that can help you take charge of your mental health with confidence.
