Feeling stuck, emotionally overwhelmed, or having difficulty in your relationships? Are you internally suffering from self-doubt and a feeling of never being “good enough?” Is anxiety preventing you from pursuing the things that matter? It takes courage to want to grow, do differently, and tell the most intimate details of your life’s story. I would be honored to help guide you on your healing journey.
As a therapist, I aim to help you gain insight into your emotional experience, build effective coping skills, and work through deep-rooted patterns to pursue a life of healing and fulfillment. My approach is evidence-based and culturally sensitive; I value the spectrum of human diversity and am attentive to social justice issues as well as the systemic factors that can impact one’s sense of self and well-being. I strive to cultivate a collaborative, trusting therapeutic relationship so that you can achieve meaningful change and get the most out of therapy.
Outside of my private practice, I am a psychologist at the Facebook Wellness Center and am well versed in the unique challenges that individuals face working in high pressure environments. I have experience treating an array of concerns including depression, anxiety, trauma/PTSD, burnout, grief, and relationship issues. As a bicultural therapist, I also have expertise in Asian-American Pacific Islander (AAPI) issues, acculturative stress, intergenerational conflict/family of origin concerns, and racial/cultural identity issues.
I welcome you to reach out for a free 15-minute phone consultation to determine if we may be a good fit.
