Hi, I’m Dr. Tanya Singh, a licensed clinical psychologist with over a decade of experience supporting adults through anxiety, OCD, trauma, and times of deep personal transition. Many of the people I work with are thoughtful, high-achieving individuals who are deeply self-aware. Despite this insight, they often find themselves stuck in emotional patterns that are hard to shift. They seek therapy not only to feel better but also to reconnect with themselves on a deeper level.
As a first-generation South Asian woman, I bring a culturally informed perspective to my work. I understand the complexity of navigating between different cultural worlds, honoring family values while trying to stay true to your own path. I also recognize the challenges of managing silence or stigma around mental health. My goal is to create a space that feels safe, respectful, and open to your full experience.
Clinically, I draw from approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic practices, and exposure-based work. I also integrate insights from Eastern philosophy and contemplative traditions, offering a therapy experience that is both practical and grounded in a deeper sense of meaning. My sessions are flexible and collaborative. Some focus on building skills and structure, while others invite more reflection and exploration depending on your needs.
For clients working through deeply rooted or treatment-resistant patterns, I also offer ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP). I approach this work with care and intention, emphasizing preparation, safety, and integration.
I currently offer online therapy to adults in New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. If we work together, you can expect a relationship based on honesty, warmth, and mutual respect. I’m here to support you in reconnecting with parts of yourself that may have been overlooked and in creating a life that feels more grounded, spacious, and aligned with who you truly are.
