Hello! My name is Eliza Alvarez McBride (she/her.) I am a first-generation Filipina-American mental health counselor located in the Portland-Metro Area. I specifically serve clients who identify as BIPOC, women and femmes of color, first and second generation immigrants of color, and survivors of childhood abuse and domestic violence. I completed my master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Portland State University and completed all requirements to become a nationally certified counselor (NCC) in 2018. Prior to my graduate degree, I completed a bachelor’s in Psychology with a minor in Women’s Studies. Before starting private practice, I completed internships and worked in non-profit and community mental health settings. I currently provide counseling and teletherapy for individuals in Oregon and Washington.
