Bio

As an adult, do your parents still disapprove of you? Do you believe that you are not good enough? You try to please others and feel guilty when you want to do something for yourself. You’re afraid of being “selfish” and your parents and family have called you that before. You want to break free from this thinking but don’t know how to get started. You tried to go to other therapists, but they don’t get you. They tend to be white, and don’t understand your culture, background, or feelings.

I help Asian American adults who struggle with perfectionism, guilt, and self-criticism find freedom. I get what it is like to grow up in a family feeling not good enough and to never allow yourself to be you. I get what it is like to always put others’ needs before yourself, and to have difficulty expressing what you want out of fear, guilt, and shame.

If you are ready to learn a new way of living thats free from anxiety, guilt, and self-criticism, contact me for a free 15-minute consultation. Discover how therapy can work for you and find freedom for yourself.
