Bio

Hi! I’m Alvina — a licensed New York based Psychotherapist committed to helping adolescence and adults work through relationship and emotional challenges.

Navigating relationships can feel overwhelming, especially when the fear of not being chosen pulls you away from your own truth. Clients often share a familiar ache—the sense that love must be earned, that being chosen requires self-sacrifice, and that preserving relationships means silencing themselves. I’m here to tell you that unconditional love and emotional safety can co-exist. Love can be easy, soft, and reciprocal without it feeling like comes at a personal cost to you.

In our work together, we’ll unpack the “why” behind chronic self-doubt, co-dependency patterns, and a deep longing for external validation. Grounded in evidence-based practices and cultural awareness, therapy with me is a collaborative process. You’ll gain insight, learn practical tools, and begin rebuilding trust in your own voice and needs. This is a space for all of you—your story, your struggles, your resilience—to be met with curiosity and compassion.

If you’re ready to reclaim your self-worth and build relationships that align with your values, I’d be honored to walk alongside you. Reach out for an appointment today to begin this journey together!
