She loves to ask questions to get clients to think more deeply about their values and situations. She also grasps the need for culturally-nuanced and realistic strategies that are tailored to her clients’ strengths and situations. In practice, she combines various forms of evidence-based treatments to adapt to the needs and goals of her clients. Angela’s life experiences have shaped her into the counsellor that she is. Like all her clients, adversities have played a role in her story, but themes of healing, joy, connection, and radical self-compassion have also been fruits borne from these experiences.
