Anthea Lai is a trauma and relationship therapist supporting individuals to navigate impact from major life events like grief of sudden losses, postpartum depression, abuse, stressful workplace pressures, existential crisis. Her approach is strength-based, emotionally-focused and spiritually-integrative to help regain self-confidence, better manage mental health disorders and heal from strained relationships with parents, partners, and/or children. By better understanding your genuine self that may have been hindered and impacted by intergenerational trauma and unconscious negative cycles of thought and behavioral patterns, transformation within yourself and between relationships can take shape.

As a Canadian born Chinese, she is culturally sensitive as she has lived experiences of bicultural-identities having studied/worked in Hong Kong and Canada. She is also in a biracial marriage navigating motherhood with empathy and compassion.
