Aubrey Nishikawa, AMFT

Pronouns: She / Her

Hi there! I am a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist who is passionate about supporting the mental & emotional wellness of young adults, adolescents, and the AAPI community. I specialize in softening shame, increasing self-compassion, and intergenerational healing.  I work from a trauma informed, attachment based, client centered approach. I believe nurturing a safe therapeutic relationship with clients can help calm the body’s stress responses and create helpful shifts in our interactions with the self & others. While I am trained and credentialed, I believe you are the expert of your life and therapy is done at your pace and in your timing. I deeply value my clients and honor each human’s unique experiences. I strive to provide a warm & responsive presence and help folks feel seen, heard, and validated. It is my hope to increase curiosity, understanding, and compassion while reducing self-criticism, shame, and blame.
