For over 15 years, I’ve worked with individuals to improve their mental and emotional health and develop their resilience in counselling, healthcare and organizational settings. I am based in the GTA and provide virtual therapy services for adults across Ontario. When working with individuals, I strive to create a safe inclusive environment to help the individual understand and resolve their problems and achieve their goals. Goals and tasks for treatment are always collaboratively identified with careful consideration of the individual’s unique needs and perspectives. I support clients experiencing relationship issues, self-criticism, perfectionism, low self-esteem, depression, anxiety, adjustment issues, trauma, and emotional regulation difficulties.
I am specially trained in the scientifically-researched approaches of Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT). I am a certified EFT therapist and supervisor with the International Society for Emotion-Focused Therapy (isEFT). I also provide consultation services for organizations and clinicians.
