Caitlyn Liao, LSWAIC

Sex/Gender: Female
Pronouns: She / Her
Ethnicity: Chinese
Bio

Caitlyn helps people who feel disconnected from themselves and struggle to understand their emotional patterns and relationships. Her clients work with her because they want to break free of old habits, pursue meaning, and live more authentically. Caitlyn wants her clients to embrace self-compassion, heal from past wounds, and improve their connections with themselves and others.

Caitlyn approaches therapy with openness, curiosity, and presence. She believes there’s no one right way to do therapy – it’s about showing up as you are. She aims to provide a warm, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel safe, heard, and valued to share anything and everything that comes to mind. She sees therapy as collaborative exploration, where she is a “partner in thought” to her clients. She emphasizes being fully present and engaged, meeting her clients where they are in their emotional world.

When she’s not supporting clients in session, you can find Caitlyn being outside in nature, doing yoga, working on jigsaw puzzles, and spending quality time with loved ones. Please reach out to our admin team at hello@relationalpsych.group or (206) 312-5155 to get started.
