As a queer Filipino therapist in my mid 30s, my own lived experiences with grief and loss due to intergenerational trauma and unexpected death brought me to this work. I was born in Hawaii, grew up in the Bay Area, and came to understand my identities and values in San Diego. I am a relational and process-oriented therapist that helps you tap into your strengths, attune to your needs, and heal from painful beliefs and wounds.

You’d say you’re supportive, mindful, and reliable. You wonder how long you can keep up with being “the one that keeps it all together” in your family, your relationships, and at work when there’s a part of you that feels overwhelmed. This leaves you feeling angry, exhausted, and stuck. You want to share this struggle but fear you’ll be a burden and push others away.. You’re curious if one day, your fears of rejection will have less of an influence, giving you the space to feel more connected to yourself and your relationships.

The roles and cycles you find yourself in don’t have to be permanent. Therapy with me is a soft place to land as you experience change. We get to the root of why the roles and cycles you find yourself in feel permanent, process and unburden painful beliefs and wounds that keep you feeling stuck and self-critical, and engage in practices that help you feel anchored in a sense of self, agency, creativity, and compassion. I take into account how cultural and familial expectations, relationship dynamics, historical issues, and systemic issues influence the stressors we experience and how we cope. I specialize in supporting adults through traumatic grief and men who are going through challenging life transitions as it relates to family, intimacy, sexuality, and sense of self.
