Bio

Hi! I’m currently taking new individual clients.

Do you feel stuck or misunderstood and often have strong reactions towards others and can’t seem to figure out if it’s you or others? Often times our cultural identity and values intertwine into our current relationships creating tensions, stress and challenges. Our differences in communication styles, thinking patterns and ways of expressing our feelings maybe the reasons we are experiencing stress in our lives and our relationships. Psychotherapy can provide the opportunity for us to explore the distress and difficulties in your relationships in a safe space and deepen your self reflection of unconscious behaviors and patterns.

I have 20+ years of providing psychotherapy with BIPOC working on a range of concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma, divorce, grief & loss. My special interest is working with people who feel distress with life transitions and family related issues.
I believe everyone has the ability to make small positive changes that can eventually lead to a more fulfilling experience. I take a holistic approach integrating wellness practices and understanding the whole person. My style is described to be engaging, compassionate, accepting, relational, strength based and culturally elevating.
