If you’re tired of waiting for life to get better, you’re not alone.
Maybe you’re overwhelmed with work or school or family. Maybe you’re wondering when you’re going to feel more confident and free. You may even be embarrassed that you feel the way you do and you find it hard to be honest with others about what you’re going through. Or you may even have trouble putting it into words. Maybe the distractions—the phone, food, substances, shopping, busy-ness–seem to help in the moment. But when you’re really present for how you feel, you know you’re not where you want to be. Things need to change.
I became a therapist because I love helping people embrace their true selves and live authentically.
What I’ve learned from working with clients for over 10 years is that when you don’t work on yourself, you don’t get the clarity and confidence you need to live the life you really want to.
I know how hard it is to struggle with difficult emotions and not know how to overcome the challenges. I believe modern psychology offers valuable tools for healing and living better and I want to share them with as many people as possible.
We may not be able to control many of the things we face that are difficult, such as anti-AAPI hate, prejudice, and micro-aggressions. What we can control is how we face our fears and anxiety, cope with stress, connect with others, and live the most vibrant life we can.
