Bio

I offer a safe, nurturing and judgement free space that can help you begin to traverse through the challenges that bring you to therapy. We can address the current issues that bring you pain and explore earlier experiences and relationships to engage with unconscious factors that may be influencing your struggles and heartache. Our work together can help you understand your internal and relational dynamics with greater depth, thereby giving you more flexibility and freedom in your relationships. Because I’m interested in helping you understand yourself from a holistic perspective, this may involve thoughtful consideration of the socio-cultural context and systems that have shaped your identity and personhood.

In our private and confidential relationship, you can be completely honest about yourself and what’s going on. Whether you’re looking to resolve a current struggle, long-standing afflictions or looking to deepen your understanding of yourself, we’ll work together to highlight your strengths, give voice to your authentic self, develop insights, and build upon your internal resources. I offer my commitment to help you find growth, relief, acceptance, and the lasting change you may be looking for.

I’m a daughter of ethnic Chinese immigrants from Thailand and Laos and grew up in a diverse community in Los Angeles county. In addition to my education and extensive clinical training, my personal lived experience and where I came from has greatly shaped me and has informed my perspective as therapist.
