Bio
Welcome! I am glad you have reached out for support. You have taken the first step to feeling better. Having counseled since 2003, I specialize in working with women who are struggling with anxiety, depression, abuse, trauma, grief and loss, codependency, boundaries, relationships (dating, marriage and parenting), racial identity, faith, and other adjustments in life.
I provide evidence based counseling modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Psychodynamic Therapy. I also use EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) for trauma as well as Neurofeedback to decrease symptoms of anxiety and depression. Therapeutic modality used is based on the comfort of the client. View website for more info.
I am also a corporate speaker to employees of Fortune 500 companies on mental health topics through Modern Health. I believe a client experiencing a safe and nurturing therapeutic relationship can be healing. I consider it a privilege to journey with clients and feel a great responsibility to help them when they entrust me with their stories.
