Bio

Hi there,

My name is Elaine and I am a Counselling Therapist (ACTA) and Certified Music Therapist (MTA).

Through counselling and the use of music and its qualities to effect change within a therapeutic relationship, I work with people who want to:

  • Explore and understand their emotions in a safe, non-judgmental, and non-traditional space

  • Adjust to any kind of change, big or small

  • Find ways to use music more intentionally to improve overall wellness

  • Find more meaning and purpose in their lives

So, I am here to listen. I am also here to provide opportunities for change and growth. My practice is music-centred, humanistic, and strengths-based, drawing from various therapy approaches that might best fit your needs. No previous musical experience or training necessary. I strive to be anti-racist, anti-oppressive, and culturally responsive. I also bring my lived experiences in the world as a second-generation Chinese-Canadian and third-culture-kid (TCK).

I am accepting new clients at this time. Please book a free 15-min consultation to see if we might be a good fit.

I look forward to meeting with you.
