Bio
It’s hard to navigate a world that was built against your needs. As a queer, nonbinary, neurodivergent person of color, I recognize that interlocking systems of oppression impact your life and wellbeing. I aim to hold space for LGBTQIA+, neurodivergent, and BIPOC folx, and anyone affected by fatphobia, xenophobia, ableism, or the White supremacist capitalist patriarchy. Here, we can untangle experiences of marginalization, complex trauma, and difficulties stemming from depression, anxiety, stress, life transitions, gender dysphoria, and other mental health conditions. I also work with adult adoptees on adoption/separation trauma.
I conceptualize mental health and marginalization through social models — you are not defective, society lacks adequate structures of support. With a non-pathologizing approach, I help folx develop authenticity, self-advocacy, boundaries, and coping skills. Within the trans community specifically, I provide gender-affirming surgery assessments and letters.
If we choose to work together, our relationship will center collaboration, consent, and autonomy in each step. I want you to feel empowered in the care you receive. You are the expert of your own life. I am truly grateful for the opportunity to hear your story and get to know you. Please feel free to reach out for a consultation. I’m here to support you!
