Bio
Nikki works with children and adults of all backgrounds, specializing in children with special needs, parenting/co-parenting, couples’ therapy and polyamory, international students, and Asian mental health. She has experience with a wide range of issues including anxiety, depression, communication, self-image, personal growth, relational issues, neurodivergent experiences, racial trauma, etc. Her therapeutic approach is creative and relational, and she provides language-specific care in both English and Mandarin Chinese.
Nikki provides culturally-affirming, attachment-based, queer-affirming, poly-friendly, strength-based and client-centered services, integrating trauma-informed and evidence-based theories including Expressive Arts Therapy, Family Systems Theory, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Mindfulness.
Nikki is excited to connect and co-create healing experiences for her clients, utilizing her authentic presence as well as professional knowledge. She works collaboratively with clients to promote long-lasting changes and help clients achieve their goals.
