Bio

When you are sitting across from me, my goal is for you to feel safe, understood, and encouraged. I am here to help you unlearn thoughts and behaviors that no longer serve you—to explore and unravel unhealthy habits, toxic ways of interacting with others, and harmful statements you unconsciously rehearse when you’re feeling your absolute worst. I focus on your strengths and take into account your family dynamics, how you were raised, and trauma you have experienced.

In session with me, you can expect me to ask how you deal with negative emotions and about your relationships. As second-generation Chinese American, I will also ask you about your culture and community.

I received my Master of Science in Counseling from Southern Methodist University, where I studied Clinical Mental Health with specialization in Marriage, Couples, and Family. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Harvard College.
