Hi, I’m Jenn! I’m a Chinese-American Licensed Mental Health Counselor passionate about normalizing mental health for the Asian American community.
As the daughter of immigrant parents, I relate to the challenges of balancing multiple cultural expectations and identities, especially when they seem to pull you in different directions. This can often leave us feeling lost, overwhelmed, or uncertain about what to do. It can also lead to guilt and self-doubt, as we try to reconcile what is “right”, what is “wrong”, and who we “should” be.
My approach is rooted in Psychodynamic/Psychoanalytical Therapy with the integration of Narrative, IFS, and EMDR. I love helping clients explore what they truly want and need (in family, relationships, & work), creating a plan to enact small behavioral changes, and working towardmaintaining emotional homeostasis so that they can feel good about who they are. Together, we will explore your experiences to find solutions and establish a more secure sense of self.
