Bio

I’m Jennifer Kiehl (she/her), MA, AMFT, APCC, and my practice, Sage & Summit Counseling, is based in West Hollywood, CA. I provide therapy for individuals, couples, and families, focusing on trauma, life transitions, relationships, and identity exploration. My approach is collaborative and client-centered, integrating Adlerian, Gestalt, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and expressive therapies to support clients in navigating personal challenges in a way that fosters clarity and growth. I am also pursuing a PhD in Counselor Education & Supervision, with a commitment to both clinical work and mentoring future clinicians.

I work with a diverse range of clients, including Asian Americans, LGBTQIA+ individuals, creatives, athletes, and those processing childhood trauma or complex family dynamics. Many clients seek therapy to explore intergenerational expectations, family relationships, career pressures, or self-discovery, particularly those balancing cultural identity with personal aspirations. Therapy provides a space to navigate these challenges, whether it’s understanding familial roles, redefining success, or finding a sense of belonging on your own terms.

Beyond therapy, I am passionate about mentorship and increasing diverse representation in the mental health field. Whether you’re seeking therapy, in training as a counselor, or considering entering the profession, I welcome the opportunity to connect.

I offer in-person therapy in West Hollywood and online therapy across California.
