Bio

It can feel like no one understands you because of what you’ve been through. You might have difficulty trusting others and feel like you always have to watch your back. As you try to figure out who you are, you might struggle with self-esteem, depression, and anxiety. You may feel caught between cultures, unsure of which values to honor. You’re exhausted and burnt out. If you are struggling with any of these issues, you are not alone. Together, we can work towards finding balance and meeting your needs—to feel heard, to have choices in what happens around you, and to feel safe and secure.

I specialize in supporting individuals facing trauma, including complex trauma and dissociative disorders, adolescents, children over 7, people of color (AAPI & BIPOC), and healthcare professionals. My integrative approach explores thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and systems, using experiential activities like art.

As a 2nd-generation Asian-American woman and former physician, I bring my lived and clinical experiences to my work as a counselor. I’m passionate about diversity, inclusivity, learning, and self-growth, and I would be honored to be part of your journey towards healing and growth.
